Big Fish Theatre Company
The Big Fish Theatre Company was created to develop and advance innovative and unique Arts projects around personal, social and health issues in the community. It works with and for a variety of agencies including voluntary organisations, DOH, DfEE, youth and social services. It devises theatre, drama and Arts programmes, addressing a range of issues including drugs education, self esteem, sexual health, citizenship, social inclusion and conflict resolution. It also runs a variety of professional and community training programmes and acts as a consultant to other organisations such as Drug Action Teams, and steering groups for higher education institutions such as the Central School of Speech and Drama. The main activities of the organisation divide up into the following areas: * Personal, Social, Health & Citizenship (PSHCE) issue based theatre production and workshops * PSHCE issue based theatre & drama workshops for young people * PSHCE issue based theatre & drama workshops for parents * PSHCE curriculum development training in the Arts for teachers and youth workers PSHCE issue Arts based resource development and production for young people, parents, teachers and youth workers.
