Trinity College Music
Trinity College of Music is a specialist higher education institution training professional performing musicians. Based in the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, Trinity has almost 600 undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as a thriving Junior Dept for young people. Trinity offers training in instrumental and vocal performance and composition in a variety of musical styles including Jazz, Music Theatre, Orchestral, Chamber and Early Music. As part of this training the college runs a proactive outreach programme in which students make music with local people of all ages. This includes workshops in schools, recreational music making with youth projects and community performance projects in partnership with Blackheath Halls. The college promotes 100s of performances by its staff and students each year, many in the Greenwich area.
